Less that 4 weeks away is the 2nd Annual Wiregrass Indoor Nationals remote control car race being held at the Dale County Ag-plex in Ozark, AL. As some of you remember the first race was held at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds last May. This event is FREE to come watch. It is a 3 day event that begins August 6th as a practice day, August 7th (Saturday) is qualifying, and August 8th is the mains (finals). Starting time for Saturday and Sunday will begin around 8AM. This year we have added several CORR Truck classes. These trucks are like the real off-road racing trucks that you see jumping jumps and at races like the BAJA 1000. You will have 15-20 of these trucks racing at the same time hitting and pounding each other as they race around the track. We will have the stock class (more affordable class) and the modified classes. Some of the trucks can reach speeds of 50+ mph.

Traxxas (one of the manufactures of these trucks) will be sending a couple of there drivers and employees here from Texas to support there customers and drivers.

As of today we have over 260 entries that coming from all over the country.

We will have a local 4H Club that will be preparing food Friday - Sunday. So come out and support the 4H club and watch some great racing.
